HARD LANDSCAPING AND PLANTING, OXFORD
Our landscaping services were called on by a garden designer to help bring to life their plans to revamp an existing garden with swimming pool to make it more useable and to create a stunning entrance to the property.
After clearing the rear garden, we built retaining walls to manage the different levels. By removing an existing yew hedge and installing more turf, we enlarged the main lawn area, giving a much more useable space. Our clients already had a swimming pool in the garden. To breathe new life into it, we removed the old paving surround and laid new paving including copping stones and created a patio seating area. We finished this by installing pleached trees and lattice planting to offer screening.
Near to the house, we built retaining walls to support a raised patio and paths paved with stone from Mandarin Stone. The garden was finished with perennial planting and shrubs.
To the front of the property, we created a beautiful but practical shingle driveway and entrance.
The works were completed in 5 months.

We cannot fault them. A price was agreed and that was what we paid. The project management was excellent, the team turned up every day for (many!) weeks and were always on top of what needed to be done and were all very professional, friendly and helpful. Whilst working to a design brief, it was not followed blindly, but from time to time the site manager, or one of the directors and one of the team would come to us to discuss details around what was to be planted, exactly where a driveway should go, etc., and suggest tweaks or alternatives, almost all of which we gladly accepted. It was very clear to us that the TVL team really know their stuff, from plants to lawn maintenance to paving to building paths. The team completed the job when they said they would and , all in all, we would recommend them highly."
