Current Vacancies

Salary (depending on experience) : £25,000 – £28,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and self-motivated Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to head a busy team of two or three operatives at various sites in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all sites assigned to you, are maintained to the highest standards. Activities may include (but are not exclusive to): grass management, weed treatments, leaf clearance and kerb appeal, hedge trimming, bed work, water management if needed, tree work, line marking and pitch preparation.
  • Motivate and manage your team to get good results in the timescale given, and supervise performance of their duties.
  • Have the confidence and ability to train new starters and operatives, offering support and guidance when required.
  • Plan for each day in advance and ensure that your team are clear on instruction and have the correct tools and PPE for the tasks involved.
  • Understand the needs of each site and client, and communicate any issues or problems to your Line Manager.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with clients, colleagues and management.
  • Maintain high Health & Safety standards and adhere at all times to the company code of conduct.
  • Ensure all vehicles, tools and equipment are well maintained and serviceable, carrying out necessary checks and reporting faults or damage immediately.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 years’ experience in grounds maintenance.
  • Experience of leading a small maintenance team preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • A good work ethic with the ability to work on your own initiative, and work in a team.
  • The ability to demonstrate capability within your team and have good communication and organisational skills.
  • Extremely high attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • PA1 & PA6 Pesticides Certificates – advantageous but not essential.
  • Trailer Licence – advantageous but not essential.

Salary (depending on experience) : £21,500 – £26,000 per annum

Thames Valley Landscapes are a well-established commercial grounds maintenance and landscaping company based in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated full-time Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our busy and highly regarded team, maintaining grounds in and around Berks and Bucks.

The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Maintaining plants, hedges and trees at customer sites such as hotel grounds, schools, and marinas.
  • General maintenance such as mowing, hedge cutting, planting, pruning and strimming etc.
  • Use of ride-on mowers when required.
  • Weed control and litter clearing.
  • Working hard to ensure all contracted grounds are at a high standard.

Our ideal candidate would have:

  • Good communication skills and an eye for detail.
  • A can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Teamwork mindset, but also able to work independently.
  • Flexible in approach to work and comfortable with working in all weathers.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.

Hours of work set as 7.30-16.45, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and self-motivated Landscaping Supervisor to join our busy and highly regarded landscaping company. Your role will be to lead a team of 2/3 to carry out landscaping work on a range of high-end residential gardens and commercial projects, in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas.

Your responsibilities:

  • Complete landscaping projects efficiently and to the satisfaction of the customer. Tasks may include (but are not exclusive to): fencing, decking, patios, paving, brickwork, turfing, artificial turf, driveways.
  • Help set up site and plan your day in advance, to ensure deadlines are reached.
  • Maintain excellent communication with colleagues and management, to build strong and trustworthy working relationships.
  • Uphold high Health & Safety standards and adhere at all times, to the company code of conduct.
    Work with your team to ensure all vehicles, tools and equipment are well maintained and serviceable, carrying out necessary checks and reporting faults or damage immediately.
  • Teach and motivate junior employees within the team.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years landscaping experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience of leading a team OR a senior landscaper who is looking for the next step.
  • A strong focus on delivering high quality workmanship, and genuine pride, in every job whether working in a team or as an individual.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A can-do attitude, problem solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • The physical ability to lift heavy equipment and material.

We are looking for an experienced full-time Garden Landscaper/ Labourer to join our busy and highly regarded landscaping business and to work on a range of high-end residential and commercial landscaping projects in and around Berks and Bucks.

Our ideal candidate would have:

  • Minimum 1 years labouring experience. All skill levels will be considered, work will include (but not limited to): patios, paving, fencing, decking, drivingways etc…
  • Good communication skills.
  • A can-do attitude.
