Yes indeed. Our credentials can be found on the About Us page.
Yes. We can prepare an annual maintenance contract, or we can cost projects on an individual, ad hoc basis. Pricing is dependent on the scope of services provided and discounts are available for regular, long term contracts.
Landscaping
Landscaping can be expensive due to a combination of factors including the cost of skilled labour, high-quality materials, complex design requirements, the need for specialised equipment, potential site challenges like difficult terrain, and the time involved in planning and execution. All of which contribute to the overall cost of landscaping project.
When looking for a landscape gardener it’s a good idea to start by checking online reviews and ratings on platforms like Google and Facebook. You should also ask friends and family for recommendations.
Once you’ve found a landscaper you like the look of. Check their portfolio of past work and previous projects. You could also ask for references from past clients, as well as enquiring about their experience and expertise.
Verify if they have the necessary insurance, accreditations and skills you need for your project.
Then consider getting a quote from multiple landscapers to compare their service and costs. Be wary of going for the cheapest – as that might mean corners are cut in areas like the quality of work or materials.
At Thames Valley Landscapes we have a team of landscaper who are well trained and experienced in the skills needed for working on a variety of projects.
You can check our credentials on our about us page.

Yes and no. We have a limited number of residential customers as well as commercial clients. Our residential customers have large gardens, to the extent that they would almost be classified as grounds. Our maintenance sites range from 5 acres to large commercial grounds spanning 60 acres.
Yes. We can make daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly visits, to suit your requirements. We accommodate a wide range of contracts. Your contract can be adapted at any time to accommodate specific seasonal demands, or anything else you might need.
Our commercial clients include hotels, schools, business parks, industrial estates, care and residential homes, marinas and sports clubs; some have small gardens, others manage hundreds of acres.
Garden Rooms
According to property experts a well-built garden room is a highly desirable feature and can add 1.5x their value to a home.
Once we receive your enquiry, we start with organising a visit to assess the site so we can scope the needs of the project (e.g. size of the office, number of windows, internal requirements such as sockets and lighting). This usually takes just under an hour to conduct.
We then prepare a quote and specification for the work which takes roughly 2 weeks.
Once the quote has been accepted, we book a date for the building work. From start to finish, the build generally takes 3 to 4 weeks.
Yes, you can insulate a garden room. All our garden rooms are insulated as standard to ensure your comfort all year round. You can also add electric heaters or underfloor heating for additional warmth.
Most garden rooms will not require planning permission is they fall under 2.5m in height. If your garden needs a raised ceiling that takes it above this height threshold, planning permission may need to be sought.
We’re well versed in the intricacies of planning permission requirements for garden buildings, and can advise on this as part of our design process.
